Looply is a service offered by Patronus Strategies, LLC ("Looply," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be disclosed to others, and the choices that may be available to you.
1. Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide when you create or manage an account, publish or edit a service listing, contact another member, submit a review or response, request help, communicate with Looply, or purchase or manage a subscription.
Depending on how you use Looply, this information may include your name, email address, profile image, city and state, service information, business name, service description, pricing, availability, experience, credentials, website, phone number, contact preferences, referral information, reviews, responses, and information you send directly to us.
If you purchase a paid Looply plan, payment information is handled by our payment and membership service providers. Looply does not directly store full payment-card numbers.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or use Looply, we and service providers that support the platform may automatically collect information about your visit and device. This may include pages viewed, actions taken, referral information, advertising or campaign source, approximate geographic information, browser and device information, session information, and technical identifiers used to recognize a browser or session.
We may use cookies, pixels, browser local storage, and similar technologies to operate Looply, remember information, measure site activity, understand how people find and use Looply, and evaluate advertising and outreach.
3. Public and Member-Visible Information
Service listings are intended to help people discover the services offered through Looply. Information you include in a service listing may therefore be displayed publicly, subject to Looply's plan and display rules.
Certain contact information is not displayed to anonymous visitors. Logged-in members may be able to reveal contact information through Looply's Contact feature. The contact information available depends on the listing, the information supplied by the person who created it, and the features available for that listing.
Ratings, reviews, public responses, business names, service descriptions, profile images, credentials, and other listing information may also be visible to other people as described by Looply's current features.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve Looply; create and manage accounts and service listings; enable members to find and contact one another; administer reviews and member features; provide customer support; manage subscriptions; send account and service communications; detect misuse or security concerns; analyze platform performance; understand how people discover Looply; measure advertising effectiveness; and comply with legal obligations.
We may also use information to communicate with you about Looply, including account activity, service updates, listing activity, features, and other information related to your relationship with Looply. Where required by law, marketing communications will include appropriate choices or opt-out mechanisms.
5. Analytics, Advertising, and Similar Technologies
Looply currently uses analytics and advertising measurement technologies, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to understand website activity, measure conversions, evaluate advertising performance, and improve our outreach.
These technologies may collect or receive information about your browser, device, interactions with Looply, approximate location, referral source, and other technical or usage information. They may use cookies, pixels, identifiers, or similar technologies in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
We do not intentionally send information such as service descriptions, private communications, or full payment-card information to analytics platforms for advertising measurement.
Privacy laws in some states use terms such as "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" in ways that may include certain disclosures made through advertising or analytics technologies even when no money is exchanged for personal information. We will provide any choices or disclosures required by applicable law as Looply's operations and geographic reach develop.
6. Service Providers
We use third-party companies to help operate Looply. These providers may process information on our behalf or provide technology used directly through the platform.
Current services include Webflow for website hosting and publishing; Memberstack for accounts, membership functionality, and platform data; Stripe and related membership tools for subscription payments; Google Analytics for website analytics; Meta for advertising measurement; Google Maps services for location-related functionality; and Loops for lifecycle and member email communications.
These providers process information according to their respective agreements, privacy policies, and applicable law. Our service providers may change as Looply develops.
7. When We May Disclose Information
We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Looply; when necessary to provide a feature you request; to comply with a valid legal obligation or governmental request; to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Looply, our members, or others; to investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents; or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or other transfer involving all or part of the business.
We may also disclose information when you direct us to do so or when disclosure is otherwise permitted by law.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Looply, maintain appropriate business and legal records, administer accounts and subscriptions, protect the platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and why it was collected. Closing an account or requesting deletion does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record. We may retain information when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes, or where applicable law permits or requires retention.
9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and whether applicable legal thresholds are met, privacy laws may give you rights concerning your personal information. These may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information, and in some circumstances rights relating to certain uses or disclosures of personal information.
You may submit a privacy request by emailing hello@looply.live. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Certain information may be exempt from a request where permitted by law.
Browser and device settings may also allow you to block, delete, or limit certain cookies or similar technologies. Doing so may affect some website functions.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No website, database, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Information About Other People
If you submit information, photographs, reviews, or other content relating to another person, you are responsible for having any rights or permission necessary to provide that information to Looply and to allow its use as described in these Terms and this Privacy Policy.
12. Age Requirements
Looply accounts and service listings are for adults age 18 and older. Looply does not currently permit service listings for services performed by individuals under 18, including listings managed by an adult on a minor's behalf.
If we learn that personal information has been collected through a Looply account in violation of this age requirement, we may take steps to remove the information and close the account as appropriate.
13. Third-Party Links
Looply listings may contain links to websites or services operated by other parties. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third-party websites or services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Looply changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date below and provide additional notice where required by law. We will not apply materially more permissive uses of previously collected personal information retroactively where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
15. Contact
